About Don F. White, Jr.
Don provides a sharp focus to assisting families with successful strategies to transfer their businesses and wealth in the most tax efficient manner possible while also creating plans to that produce retirement income that is both tax-advantage and non-reportable.
A native of North Carolina, Don graduated from Wofford College in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity and the golf team. He served as Vice President of his family’s management company until 1996 when he joined National Life to focus on directly helping families protect and keep their hard earned assets. In 2000, after 4 successful years as an agent he moved to Winston-Salem to enter Advanced Leadership Development Program. He assumed the management of National Life’s Winston-Salem General Agency in 2003.

Outside the Office
Don is married to Mississippi native, Kelly White, a graduate of Converse College and long time BB&T executive. They reside in Winston-Salem with their son, Bailey, a student at UNC-Chapel Hill and daughter, Mary Slade. Don holds memberships at both the Old Town Club and the Country Club of North Carolina. He also serves as a volunteer coach at the YMCA. Don enjoys playing golf, traveling with family, college sports and vintage collectible cars.
